your big day
We woke up early to get ready for our big day at Disneyland and guess who arrived at our door? Auntie and Jen surprised you with donuts for your birthday breakfast - yum! Then Oma arrived and took us to the happiest place on earth! When we arrived, they gave you a special button saying it was your birthday and so everywhere we went, people wished you a happy birthday! We started our day with the "celebrate parade" and danced our little hearts out! We walked, ate, sang, laughed, and enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating your sweet life!

Madeline decided that she wanted to try sponge curlers...can't even believe how cute she looks! I love the picture where she discovers herself in the mirror and the sweet expression on her face. That's my girl.

wild animal park
We decided to venture out and take Grant to the Wild Animal Park for his 3rd birthday! Excited, bright eyed and full of energy, he spent the day drinking in all the sights and smells. I smiled at my little boy as I watched his excitement refuse to decrease even as the day ended.
