"i 'cared"

Grant said this to me last night as I tucked him into bed...I 'cared! I asked what he was scared of...Tree...Lion, he explained. I reminded him that the lion was sleeping at the zoo and that his lion and tree at home were just toys, not scary. He argued Lion, Zoo, WAKE! I had nothing to argue back, but he eventually let me leave the room and slept just fine.
