Madeline has been very excited about homeschooling. I ask her to trace a particular letter and go over how it should look. And then she asks me to look away, while she surprises me. And this is what she presented me with - not just the one letter I asked her to work on, but the capital and lowercase letters she wanted to show that she's mastered. Her excitement is so encouraging, especially on days when I feel like I don't know what I'm doing.
